Frankston Hospital is the major provider of acute secondary and tertiary hospital services on the Mornington Peninsula. With 336 beds, it provides general and specialty medical and surgical services, mental health, maternity, and paediatric services.

Essentially Geriatric Medicine, i.e. the Internal Medicine of the Elderly. Involves the management of cardiac, pulmonary, renal, metabolic, endocrine disorders of the elderly, including approach to polypharmacy and the “Geriatric Giants” of Confusion, fall, Immobility and Incontinence

Rosebud Hospital is an 80 bed hospital located on the southern end of the Mornington Peninsula, 80kms from Melbourne CBD. The hospital provides acute care and treatment for both admitted patients and outpatients.

Cranbourne Integrated Care Centre (CICC) includes Cranbourne Community Health Service (see below) and has been operating since May 1999 in the refurbished former council offices at 145 Sladen Street, Cranbourne

Dandenong Hospital is one of Melbourne's major acute hospitals providing a range of services to the people living in Dandenong and surrounding areas

Kingston Centre which was amalgamated with other hospitals in 1995 to form the Southern Health Care Network, provides a range of health care and support services to older people, many of whom have complex needs, living in the Municipalities of Bayside, Monash, Kingston, Greater Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia.

Monash Medical Centre Clayton is one of Melbourne’s major acute public hospitals and provides services to the people living in the southeast of Melbourne

The Moorabbin Campus has developed as a less intensive hospital offering a range of services including elective and short-stay care, with a strong emphasis on Women's Health. Radiotherapy is now offered at Moorabbin through the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute, with additional cancer services also offered at the site.
